Nucleus for Social and Educational Development - NUDESE
The Nucleus for Social and Educational Development (NUDESE) carries out projects to improve the quality of life of the population of Viçosa. In 2001, the Nucleus was created and linked to the Technological Park of Viçosa (tecnoPARQ), which provided resident and incubated companies with the opportunity to develop social entrepreneurship.
Together, they aim to value the human person. Through the exercise of citizenship, they help in combating the social problems of the municipality; interact with the community; identify support priorities and new ways of acting; organize and mobilize human resources engaged in social actions; form social promotion partnerships; support the creation of new entities; and raise funds that allow the full operation of their projects.
Courses and qualifications are offered both by tecnoPARQ and in partnership with the Federal University of Viçosa, City Hall of Viçosa, SENAC and SENAR.
Intelligent Camp
This Course will promote the technical training of young students in agrarian activity, improving their technical knowledge in programming language and precision agriculture, through software development, enabling their proper qualification for insertion in the labor market, through remote classes, blended and face-to-face sessions, in the Basic, Specific I, Specific II and Specific III Modules.
The implementation of the Intelligent Camp Program in the Distance Modality will contribute to the training of young people and adolescents at a technical level, capable of proposing solutions for the improvement of activities related to agribusiness, expanding and democratizing access to public and free professional education in the country, promoting training in a qualified manner, in tune with the current demand of the Brazilian agribusiness sector. Fruit Growing Technician
Through the partnership SENAR/MG, Federal University of Viçosa (UFV) and tecnoPARQ, the Technical Course in Fruticulture is being offered, in Viçosa (MG), with 25 (twenty-five) places available, in a mutual collaboration regime, with a view to to the achievement of actions resulting from the adhesion of SENAR/MG to the e-Tec Brasil Network, with the purpose of developing professional and technological education in the form of distance education, expanding and democratizing the offer and access to public and free professional education in the country.
The execution of this Cooperation Agreement is in strict accordance with the provisions contained in Decree No. 7,589, of 10/26/2011, based on the Course Pedagogical Project (PPC), the School Regulations that define the norms that govern the organization and the functioning of the pedagogical and administrative activities related to the processes developed in the On-Campus Teaching Centers offered by SENAR/MG and as a reference the various manuals for the execution of the e-Tec Brasil Network.
In order to carry out the Technical Course in Fruit Growing, a distance modality, on-site Teaching Poles are available, with adequate physical structure, infrastructure and human and technological resources for the development of the on-site phases of the course and projects of the e-Tec Brasil Network, including assisting students in face-to-face school activities provided for in current legislation. Agribusiness Technician
Through the partnership of SENAR-AR/MG, the Union of Rural Producers of Viçosa and UFV, a tripartite Term of Technical and Financial Cooperation was signed, aiming to promote the technical training of young students in agricultural activity, in the areas that compose and structure the agribusiness, enabling their insertion in the qualified labor market, in order to develop systems and tools that support improvements in routines and developments in rural areas, as well as in the quality of life of rural producers in our region.
CenTev/UFV is a Technological Center capable of hosting technical and technological courses aimed at vocational technical education and has as one of its objectives to stimulate, coordinate and support activities within the scope of its Nucleus Unit for Social and Educational Development (NUDESE) and works that generate social and educational well-being, with the aim of meeting a regional and labor market demand, generating interdisciplinary opportunities to foster knowledge management and human resource training, as well as encourage social entrepreneurship.
Educational activities in the technical and professional scope take place at the Nucleus of Social and Educational Development (NUDESE), in the Basic, Specific I, Specific II and Specific III Modules, through remote, blended and face-to-face classes, in compliance with security measures and other recommendations according to the Post-Pandemic Committee of the UFV and, at the same time, promote works that generate social and educational well-being, according to Resolution 12/2001 of the University Council of the UFV (CONSU/UFV).
Supermarket Services and Qualification in Administrative Services - SENAC
These courses cater to young people who meet the conditions of student and worker regularly enrolled in Basic/High School or have concluded High School up to the age of 24 and users of the Protection Programs for Threatened Persons.
This project is being carried out through a partnership between UFV, SENAC/MG and Viçosa City Hall (Municipal Secretariat for Economic Development), in a mutual collaboration regime, with a view to the decentralized execution of the Young Apprentice Program offered by SENAC/MG, enabling the implementation and operation of a Teaching Center in Viçosa (MG).
The Professional Qualification Learning Courses in Supermarket Services and the Professional Qualification Learning Courses in Administrative Services expand and democratize access to public and free professional education in the country, through qualified training.
Future professionals will find it easier to enter the labor market, in line with the current demand of the commercial and entrepreneurial sector of Viçosa and region, with quality education, technical and social preparation, reflecting in quantitative and qualitative gains in the activities where they will perform its functions.

Initial and Continuing Training (FIC)
Through the partnership between UFV, SENAC/MG and Viçosa City Hall, Technical Courses and Initial and Continued Training (FIC) are being offered for young people and adults from 16 years of age.
The objectives of these Courses are: to train professionals with skills to act and intervene in their field of work, capable of helping, preparing, supporting, acting and executing the processes relevant to their area of training; promote student development through actions that articulate and mobilize knowledge, skills, values and attitudes in a potentially creative way and encourage continuous improvement; encourage, through learning situations, entrepreneurial, sustainable and collaborative attitudes; articulate the skills of the professional profile with integrative projects and other work activities that encourage critical vision and decision-making to solve problems and promote procedural and formative evaluation based on indicators of skills that make it possible to verify the learning of all those involved in the educational process .
